Indian Hill Elementary

LOCATION: Omaha, NE

Lund-Ross was selected to assist Omaha Public Schools and Jacobs to renovate Indian Hill Elementary in south Omaha. Major work included new central air conditioning throughout the facility, adding of safety rooms, new restrooms, and replacement of electrical switch gear.

Also part of this effort was fire alarm replacement, fire sprinkler installation, light fixture upgrades, carpet replacement, new windows and exterior doors, a new building security system, interior hardware and door replacement.

Planning the work around student activities and key milestones was a collaboration between Omaha Public Schools, Jacobs, Schemmer and, most importantly, the staff at Indian Hill.

A kickoff was held in May of 2016 and construction was completed in July 2017.
