OneWorld Campus Expansion

Manager at Risk for the expansion of the OneWorld Community Health Centers campus in south Omaha. OneWorld is a growing Omaha-based health center that provides quality health care with special attention to the underserved.
The project scope included the construction of two new four-story buildings on either side of OneWorld’s original headquarters in the historic Livestock Exchange Building. Each new building houses 16,000 square feet of clinic space, 16,000 square feet of residential space, and underground parking. Lund-Ross built a total of 32 affordable senior apartments and new classrooms, medical clinics, labs, and administrative space. The new OneWorld buildings were completed on time in January 2013.
After the buildings were finished, existing OneWorld administrative space in the Livestock Exchange Building was renovated into a new medical clinic. OneWorld celebrated the successful completion of the campus expansion project with a two-day grand opening celebration in March 2013. The project earned an Excellence in Construction Award from the Cornhusker Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors in 2014 was honored as the region’s Project of the Year.
