OneWorld Community Health Campus Expansion
CLIENT: OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc.
LOCATION: Omaha, NE
ARCHITECT: Alley Poyner Macchietto
Lund-Ross served as the Construction Manager at Risk for the expansion of the OneWorld Community Health Centers campus in South Omaha. OneWorld is a growing, Omaha-based health center that provides quality health care with special attention to the underserved.
The project scope included the construction of two new four-story buildings on either side of OneWorld’s original headquarters in the historic Livestock Exchange Building. The new buildings both feature 16,000 square feet of residential space, 16,000 square feet of clinic space, and underground parking. Lund-Ross built a total of 32 affordable senior apartments and classrooms, medical clinics, labs, and office space. The new buildings were completed on time in January 2013.
After the buildings were finished, existing OneWorld administrative space in the Livestock Exchange Building was renovated into a new medical clinic. The expansion of the OneWorld Community Health Centers campus was completed by Lund-Ross in April 2013.
