Omaha Community Playhouse

Lund-Ross was engaged by HDR and the Omaha Community Playhouse to oversee a major renovation of the iconic building constructed in 1959. Mechanical and electrical subcontractors were brought on to the team early to assist with estimates, material procurement, and scheduling.

The project required a major collaboration between the team and the Playhouse staff to phase deliveries, workflow, and access around their staff and activities. Hard end dates were established early in the process to ensure that the 2024-2025 show season could begin on schedule.

New rooftop units were delivered and craned onto the building and thousands of feet of piping and ductwork were installed throughout often requiring routing changes and constant contact between the team and client.

The Playhouse opened as scheduled to accommodate their busy holiday season.
