The Union for Contemporary Arts Working Meeting

On behalf of The Union For Contemporary Art, Lund-Ross Constructors would like to invite contractors and suppliers to bid on The Union’s new Black Box Theater project to be located at 2401 N. 24th Street.

The Union and Lund-Ross are especially eager to meet with BIPOC- and women-owned businesses, as well as small and emerging companies. All interested businesses are encouraged to attend one of two “Working Meetings” to discuss project needs and the bidding process for this exciting project.

Scope of work includes renovation of the existing F.J. Carey Block building with an addition to that building for a total project size of 8,700 square feet. Project is scheduled to start by May 2022 and will be complete in approximately one year.

Lund-Ross will be holding informational meetings for contractors to review construction bid documents and ask questions of the contractor’s project team relating to bid preparation, project schedules, scope of work, and site logistics. Meetings will be held at The Union. Use the 3rd entrance to the north of the parking lot (Undesign the Redline room). **Masks are required**

Bids will be due to the office of Lund-Ross by 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6th.

The following trades and scopes are being accepted: site surveying, final cleaning, grading/earthwork, site concrete paving and sidewalks, landscaping, precast & steel erection, masonry restoration, finish carpentry, caulking, glass & glazing, metal stud framing, drywall, flooring, painting, soda blasting, specialty item installation, building signage, window treatments and fire protection.
