Lund-Ross served as the Construction Manager at Risk for the Old Mill Rehabilitation licensed skilled nursing facility in the Old Mill area of Omaha. Old Mill Rehabilitation provides 24-hour sub acute nursing and the physical, speech, and occupational rehabilitative therapies referred to as “transitional care.”
Crews built the state-of-the-art care center on a 3.8-acre lot
on Papillion Parkway between Dodge and Blondo streets. The 40,000-square-foot facility houses 44 private suites; common areas including a great room, dining room, library, salon, and media room; physical therapy rooms; nursing stations; and administrative space.
Old Mill Rehab was developed by Mainland Healthcare Development, LLC, a subsidiary of The Mainland Companies, a real estate development and capital advisory firm based in Nashville, Tenn. The center is operated by Promontory Healthcare Companies, a multi- facility management company based in Portland, Ore. Promontory Healthcare Companies specializes in transitional care and operates similar facilities in Oregon and Idaho.
Construction was completed by Lund-Ross in 10 months, and Old Mill Rehab opened on time in spring 2014.
