UNL Morrison Center Addition
CLIENT: University of Nebraska–Lincoln
LOCATION: Lincoln, NE
ARCHITECT: IDC Architects
Lund-Ross served as the general contractor for the construction of an addition to the Ken Morrison Life Sciences Research Center at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL). The 68,741-square-foot MorrisonCenter opened in 2008 and houses the Nebraska Center for Virology and the collaborative research efforts of scientists at UNL, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Creighton University.
Lund-Ross built the 26,000-square-foot laboratory addition on the north side of the Morrison Center. The addition houses seven new research laboratories, lab support facilities, offices, and seminar space. The addition will expand UNL’s biomedical research capabilities and accommodate the future expansion of the virology center.
