St. Paul's Lutheran Church

Lund-Ross completed a large expansion project for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in southwest Omaha. The worship facility stretches across a full city block and is located just south of the busy intersection of 132nd and L streets in the Millard neighborhood.

The original St. Paul’s sanctuary was built in 1929. The first addition was built in 1961, and a series of further additions resulted in a mismatched and uneven facility. Lund-Ross crews demolished half of the existing facility to make room for the new Family Life Center addition. The addition provides more functional space for St. Paul’s and houses a new chapel, kitchen, child care area, gym, and classrooms. Lund-Ross built a replica of the original sanctuary tower for the exterior of the Family Life Center addition. The large-scale project was completed for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in November 2009.
