Lund-Ross led the historic renovation of the former Reniers Pianos building in Omaha’s historic Dundee district. The iconic structure was built on the corner of 49th and Dodge streets in 1926 as the Dundee Manor Hotel.

The building’s previous owners had covered the Tudor-style façade with painted plywood. To match the historic exterior, Lund-Ross removed the plywood and cleaned and tuckpointed the original brick exterior. Crews demolished the interior of the 20,628-square-foot building and installed a new roof and new windows. A restaurant was built on the first floor, and new office space was constructed throughout the first and second floors. The basement was finished as storage space. Paving and landscaping were completed, and awnings were installed on the storefronts.

Lund-Ross completed the historic renovation under an aggressive eight-month construction schedule. Businesses opened in Dougherty Place in December 2011.
