The expansion of Divine Shepherd’s existing 18,000 square-foot-facility to 64,000 square feet involved three
separate additions to the existing Church. The project involved the construction of a new Life Center
addition, a classroom addition and a narthex area; the church’s existing office space was remodeled and a
new entry to the offices and commons area built. All church functions, including pre-school, continued to be
held at the church during construction. Incorporating the structure’s new roof into the old while the building
was in use – and in the middle of winter – posed a major challenge that Lund-Ross successfully completed.
